SLOPESTER CLUB WRITING Contest Rules

1. You must be a Slopester Club Member.

Writing Contest Prizes:

First Prize, Adventure: Set of 2 Etched Skier Mugs

Second Prize, Funniest: Set of 2 Etched Skier Pilsner Glasses

Third Prize, Crash: Bode Miller Poster

Photo Contest Prizes:

First Prize, Action Photo, PRIZE: Set of 2 Etched Skier Mugs

Second Prize, Funniest PRIZE: Set of 2 Etched Glasses

Third Prize, Scenic, PRIZE:

Box of Ski Theme Greeting Cards or Poster.

All Prizes will be donated by Skitales.com and may change.

 

2. Your Tale must be a Minimum of 300 Words, 100 word minimum for poems and children's stories. (don't count articles or prepositions). 

3. Submit Fiction, Non-Fiction, or Poetry.

4. All deadlines have been extended until we receive at least 10 valid entries!

5. No obscenities, lewdness, or other trite

   attention-getting tricks.

6. Winners must agree to allow us to publish their

    winning piece on our website.

7. MS Word file format please.  Send as email with your name and address and in what category you wish to compete: Adventure, Funny or Crash.  Send your story as an MS Word attachment to jweinmann@skitales.com.

8. Limit: One entry per person per contest.

 

SLOPESTER CLUB PHOTO Contest Rules

1. You must be a Slopester Club Member.

2. Your entry must be a Ski, Snowboard or Snow Scene Photo

3. One photo entry per person per contest. 

4. JPEG format for web viewing, please send your photo via an email attachment to jweinmann@skitales.com and include the photographer's name and address in your email message, and in which category you'd like to compete: Action, Funny, or Scenic.

5. Color or black and white

6. no obscene or objectionable photos please.  We reserve the right to reject photos on this basis.

7. Judging will occur when 10 valid photo entries have been received. 

8. A ski photographer will be chosen to judge the photos.
