At
Home with Your Hosts, the Weinmann's
|
Welcome
to "Our House!"
We are the Weinmann's, Julianne and Gene. Our home
is in Port Murray, New Jersey. Although Port Murray is not a mountain
town at all in name or terrain, it's centrally located, and we can be on the
slopes in Pennsylvania, New York or Vermont in less than a day. About an
hour from home, we have a ski condo in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania,
where we enjoy Camelback Ski Area from December to April every year.

Out West, our favorites are Summit County, Colorado,
where we have braved the
bowls of A-Basin and cruised "The Outback" at Keystone, and marveled at the view
on "Storm King" at Copper Mountain.
In Vermont, Killington Mountain is our destination, with PICO PEAK running a
close second. We haven't been to Okemo yet, but it's on our list!
Our favorite in New York is Hunter Mountain, but we have a special place in our hearts
for little West Mountain where our niece and nephew learned to ski.
OUR "KIDS"
Our dog is Jake, the Brittany, who you "Slopester Club" members have
seen in our Newsflash, and we also have a cat, or rather she has us, Tinkerbell (aka,
'Tink,' aka 'Tinkus'), who you
haven't seen yet, but here she is, perched on the ledge of the loft
in our condo, and hanging out on top of a dresser, her only refuge
from attacks from Jake.
Jake,
the Brittany is four years old May 11, '08 and he's a challenge. So
much energy in such a compact package!! But he keeps us in shape as we run
with him daily in the fields across from our Port Murray home.
Julianne Weinmann and SKITALES.COM
We started Weinmann Publishing and our first project, SKITALES.COM as a
labor of love, combining our love of literature with our love of skiing.
Although we are dissolving our business this year, we hope to keep this website
going as a personal endeavor.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATRONAGE!
So if you see us on the slopes one day, please stop and say hello. We
appreciate your past patronage of our Gift Shop, which helped support the fine work of
the artists and crafters whose work we market and promoted.
